cant send pics in txt msgs

Newbie
I can send txt mags but when I try and send pics it wont send them. I try and resend. And still no luck. Doesn't. Matter what size the pic is. I have looked at thee settings. I can send thee same pic with email with no problem. Please help. Sorry for the newbie question.
 
What phone? What carrier? Are you rooted? What rom? Have you dont a reboot? What SMS app are you using? Have you tried another one? Have you called your carrier to see if there is an outage?

Come on man, give us some details to let us help you...

Milestone x. Bluegrass. Cellular
Haven't a clue what rooted is.
I have rebooted.
Haven't a clue what rom.
Is not gingerbread. Is froyo
I am using the sms that came on it. It would send at first. Somtimes I had to resend but worked.
I just hoped it was a setting I couldn't found since it worked to begin with. Just got the phone a few days ago.
I don't know all the technical stuff. Obviously.

I'd say check your APN settings against these, and if not contact cellular to see if they can provide you with the correct settings:

Yeah, to the OP I would suggest making sure you didn't turn off your data, and call the carrier's customer service line to get squared away.

WiFi? Since when can you send an MMS on WiFi alone? I'm not sure about that, but I think you can't.

That was it. I had data disabled....duh...

Obviously I don't need a complicated device like this. I have laptop and desktop. All I need is a phone and maybe txt... but my wife thinks otherwise. What are ya gonna do?

If I start going into it that deep it would self destruct. I have tech support for that.

Sorry, I know you need data. I just thought anything you use data for, you could also use wifi for.
