I installed Handcent and was ready to use it as my default sms option. I can receive but can't send to numbers with 1+xxx-xxx-xxxx. That is facebook's default. I uninstalled handcent. no luck with the default sms. i uninstalled facebook. no luck. i did a factory reset. that sucked. still no luck. now i can only sms facebook people once i've uninstalled facebook and manually entered their humber without the 1+... Someone, please, have a better solution...

I also am having this problem.
Also, when I start a conversation picking the 'correct' number xxx-xxx-xxxx, then try to reply back, it seems to automatically pick the facebook number of +1xxxxxxxxxx to try to send with - I am just guessing this because it only has this issue with contacts that have a facebook mobile number.
