So I'm trying to root my Nexus 5x so I can disable the proximity sensor (it's broken which means I can't see my screen during calls).
I was following this tutorial but when I booted into the recovery TWRP doesn't start up, it just loads forever, luckily I can run adb commands from my PC but everything I've tried hasn't worked (wiping cache, flash_eraseall). I cannot get back to fastboot to run flash commands. I can only run adb commands and restart the phone which goes to an android warning for the unlocked boot loader and boots straight to TWRP (and stays on the loading).
This all happened as soon as I unlocked the bootloader.
