Cant stream music in browser?

jrw122

Lurker
No matter which site I go to I cannot play any music from the site it just says the song is 0:01 long. Ive even tried different browsers and no luck

Nvm problem solved there was actually a app that was preventing me from streaming music thaty anti virus always warned me about but I ignored it cuz I really love the app. But I finally deleted it and I surely can stream again.

So after I deleted the app it allowed me to play music immediately after that but a few hours later I tried to go back to theexact same site and play the exact same song and it went back to doing the 0:01 thing again.

Which phone or tablet are you using jrw122? You might want to fill out that info in your user profile so people won't have to ask you that and can get right into finding you an answer.

Ahh sorry im using a samsung galaxy note 2 with att. Its odd because I uninstalled the app like I mentioned above in the original post and my phone was streaming fine, but now I come back a few hours later having not downloaded anything new onto my phone and now I cant stream so now im back to square one.

When I start to stream I'm usually given a choice of programs to use. I use XiiaLive and get good results. That app will also allow you to choose shoutcast stations for your streaming pleasure. It's free so it should be a good workaround for you if the issue isn't resolved to your liking.

I appreciate your reply but maybe I used the wrong words. Im referring to when you're surfing the internet on your phone and you want to play a song from a webpage.

What browser?
Also can you hear YouTube audio if using your browser to navigate youtube? Not the actual app.

*edit*
Didn't see the update in the op. Glad you figured it out.

I understood you. I was describing what happens on my phone when I stream music from a link on a web page on my phone. The same thing happens with web page links to streaming videos as well.

Are you open to using an app to play music, or would this be an inconvenience for you? btw, I see this is an old thread .... problem solved now?
