normally when I have Google Navigation running, I often turn off the phone's screen to save battery. The voice guidance works fine with the screen off, and if I need to check things, a touch of the power button will turn the screen back on.
However, as of today, the screen wont stay off. Google Nav will automatically turn the screen back on.
I've found that I can turn the screen off I switch to the home screen first...but then when I turn it back on I need to slide->unlock, and then reclick on the navigation icon...a bit tedious.
Anyone else notice this? I'm not sure if it's the result of the latest google maps update (yesterday)...or due to something else.
