Can't turn radio off

Hi 1st post on here. When I use "A Online Radio" app on HTC Hero I can't turn it off if I go home or go on the net or anything else the radio can't be turned off I have to turn phone off. Any ideas?:(
 
Take the battery out for a few seconds and then put it back in. Uninstall and reinstall the radio app. Sounds like something's wrong with it.
