Can't Type on my Phone Anymore...

So I was going to text a friend of mine, but the keyboard didn't pop up like it should, and for a few days it wouldn't show up. I reset my phone multiple times but nothing happened, it was the same. I Googled if people had the same problem and tried what others said (Go into settings and change keyboard, I didn't have another keyboard-Reset, I tried, etc.) and none of it worked or I didn't have the same phone as them so I couldn't try it. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

If you want another keyboard, just download one from Google Play Store. Many people (including me) prefer SwiftKey. It's a keyboard by Microsoft and works really well for me...

By resetting your phone, did you mean a "Factory Reset" which brings back your phone in the state that it was when you bought it? If yes, then there's something strange going on. I wouldn't expect a keyboard to stop working even after a factory reset.

However, just try downloading a keyboard app and tell us what happens...
