Help Can't unlock no imei or knowledge of carrier

My LG v30 locked I do not know the carrier and I cannot get the IMEI number? Please advise as to what I should do next I cannot get the unlock code because I'm unable to find out the IMEI number as well as the original carrier. Can anyone advise or help me out this email me or respond to the threat I guess thank you so much

Where did you buy the device?

If you open the dialer and enter *#06#, it will display the devices IMEI number.

The network can often be found via the model number. That should be located in Settings - About Phone.
 
This kid left it in my car and it's now mines. It was locked with passcode then I did factory reset and it's stuck on the set up new phone phase
 
No it's actually not at all. This guy literally left it in my car. And we have no way of getting back in contact with him. So yea we we're all out hanging out and that was that. Dud can u help me or not?
 
The IMEI is an identifier to the phone itself, not the phone's owner. I'd just set it aside and wait a bit. If this guy does want his phone back, he's going to be looking around for it and will eventually be contacting someone in your group of friends that were there.
 
Yeah, not to mention you will need the original email account AND password, to set it up or get any apps installed from Google. I had to setup wife's old phone, for our kid. So essentially, you want to hack that too, eh? I'd be sick if mine was lost/stolen, especially if the founder was in my circle of friends.
