Can't update rooted Note 3 - Solutions

An old Note 3 SM-N9005 was recovered from the box! However was rooted years ago with TWRP and this lead to knoex 0x1. Now OTA updates are refused. Any hint how to overcome this?

Has a custom OS been installed or just stock rooted?
If you know the original country and carrier, you should be able to find the correct firmware from here and flash with Odin.
