Can't upgrade SM-G570M

We bought two phones (exactly the same model) in South America over the summer.

One has picked up the latest Android version (8.0.0) and Samsung Experience version (9.0) but mine is stuck on Android version (7.0) and Samsung Experience version (8.1). The model number is SM-G570M. I also just factory reset the phone but still no option to upgrade.

Software update information states that there is no further update to the latest version of Android. Any ideas?
 
Possibly the carrier of the phobe gasnt sent out an update yet or use the updato app to check if an update is available useallyupdates dont go by models of the same kinds its up to the carrier of the phone to send a update.

If their is an actual update the software update maybe reaching a server that no longer exists and has released the update in a alternative method.

P.S downloads are faster using updato just download, unzip and flash via odin
 
Samsung has a official pc app called Samsung Kies but it barely works and only way to get firmwares manually is by third parties

Thanks for all this. I remembered Samsung Smart Switch which I installed on Windows and on the phone (you can install it on most operating systems and on Android): https://www.samsung.com/us/smart-switch/ and I have just upgraded now to Android 8.0.0 and Samsung Experience version 9.0, although the download was 2GB+ which is double the previous phone's upload through software update on the phone.

Smart Switch is for Android 4.3 and later. From what I can see Kies is intended for earlier versions of Samsung phones: https://www.samsung.com/us/kies/index.html
