I bought via e-Bay new AT&T unlocked phone.
Now I'm getting the message "AT&T software update => Searching for software update" but can't get anything.
I'm not an AT&T customer and not using their network
but still don't want to loose the warranty.
What should I do?
The update is sent by the carrier. Since you have an AT&T phone, and you're not an AT&T customer, you probably won't get updates (and there's nothing you can do about it). That has nothing to do with the warranty.
