Help Can't Upload Video / Boomerang to Instagram Stories

UPDATE: LATEST INSTAGRAM UPDATE FIXED IT. WAY TO GO, IG!

I've chatted with other Note 8 users and they are experiencing the exact same issue. None of us can upload video or Boomerang a to Instagram Stories. It just gets stuck "posting". Does anyone have a solution?

EDIT: Samsung has said that this is an issue with Instagram and not the Note 8. We need to report the issue to Instagram (app settings > "Report an Issue") and hopefully they'll update the app to accomodate Note 8 videos.

contact samsung? it may be an issue on the phone. i just tried it and it hung there as well.

curious, if you use snapchat,can you see if you have success there?
 
Same issue here. Read some things that say video needs to be under 1MB but even when I compressed it under that size it still hasn't posted. No issues with Snapchat however
 
I'm going through the same issue... On my other android work phone there's no problem. But for some reason it's the Note 8 not allowing it to post videos and boomerang videos????

It's definitely a software issue.. something Samsung looked over?

I'm having the same issue, it's extremely frustrating. I'm not even sure who to contact about it. I left a review in the app store and contacted ig but have heard nothing back.

Having the same issue as well... so incredibly frustrating!!!
 
So I reached out to Samsung this morning, they told me to clear my cache and data for the app then told me to uninstall the app and reinstall, when none of those things worked they told me I would need to contact IG "As of now, we do not have any recommended issues on this, Christine." so, I guess I'll do that now

I guess this is a issue that Samsung wants to avoid.. You think it's because of our camera specs ?

I'm expiercing this same issue and contacted both Instagram and Samsung. This is obviously a Samsung issue however. It's only through the Note 8 that I can't post videos or boomerangs through the story. It's frustrating to upgrade only to not be able to use these features
 
The note 8 is not officially released, so its possible samsung already know about these issues and will have an OTA coming soon.

A bit off topic, currently I'm having issues with amazon apps not opening on the note 8. Just getting a white screen.

It posts to Snapchat no problem, and Facebook too. But when I try to upload video to IF Stories (even one recorded in Facebook and Snapchat) it doesn't upload.

I figured it wasn't an issue with the phone but an issue with how Instagram uploads video. Because Facebook and Spa chat all work fine. It could be a simple bug fix for Instagram. The more people who report the issue the more likely they'll issue a fix.

Report the issue to Instagram, everyone!

It's not a Samsung issue. It's an issue with how Instagram uploads Note 8 videos, so we need to continue to report it to Instagram.

YESS!!!!! working over here with the update!!!
 
I can upload a boomerang but it's doesn't have color. Just black and white with a big blue line across the bottom.
