Can't use fingerprint due to security policy

Hi i need some help. So i got a Samsung J5 Prime. Running on Nougat (7.0) and there's this lock screen app that i love using which is the AC Display. My problem is this. Ever since i installed it the fingerprint sensor doesn't seem to work anymore and prompts me to swipe up and enter my pin die to security policy. Is there a way to fix or bypass this so that I could use the Lockscreen app?

You can't record a fingerprint without a pin or a password. My guess is iff you tried, you'd have to unlock your phone twice to use it, which would be a nuisance to say the least.
