Hi everyone,
I have this 7 months old Canvas 2 Plus. Since a month now, the battery performance has gone down drastically.
Initially it lasted throughout the day with phone calls, web browsing over 2G/3G, gmail sync for 3 a/c, facebook-twitter-google+ notifications on. But now, it hardly manages a mere 6-7 hrs of use. The battery also keeps on draining during night when neither the screen is on nor data connection. I have uninstalled fb app, disabled google+ app and probably all the apps supposed to drain power. No gaming at all. Still the problem persists.
The charging pattern has changed as well. The phone charges normally upto 62% and stays there for half an hour and then suddenly reaches 100%. Once plugged out, the power drops to 75% within the 1st hour itself. After plugging out, if i restart the phone, battery drains upto 40% normally, then suddenly goes down to 15%.
Is it time to change the battery? Are micromax batteries so poor in quality? Or am i doing something wrong?
