capabilities of android TV

I am thinking of buying an Android TV streamer for Minix neo

my question as a new to this world:
1. Can I connect my NAS hard disk (WD- mybook live) to this streamer through ehterenet connection?
2. Can I connect wireless keyboard of logitech to work with this streamer?
3. which version of this family is better and safer - NEO X7 of NEO x8-h is the x8-h proof itself as a reliable product already?

wireless keyboard should work. I am not sure about connecting the hard disk. Both the neo x7 and neo x8 are great devices
