Car bluetooth volume

I have a samsung note 5 and note 8. When I bluetooth either phone to my car stereo i can barely hear them, even when turned all the way up. Is there any way to get the cars stereo to control the volume or another way to make the phone send louder volume?

Yes and no.
* First, need to make sure all volumes are up.
*Then connect the android device to the car and play some music/radio station.
* Max out the volume on your phone again after you connect and start using the stereo
* Adjust the stereo last, there may be a gain boost built-in that you can take advantage of.
