Car Dock

Hey all,

I just bought a car dock for my motorola milestone x and I have a quick question. The dock came with a rapid car charger. When I plug the phone into the charger it charges, when I have the phone on the dock and plug the charger into the dock, it doesn't charge.

I am assuming the dock is supposed to charge when the charger is plugged into it correct? The phone does go into dock mode when put in the dock.

I know it's a dumb question but I want a for sure answer before contacting the seller.

It is supposed to work both ways: so please return the product to the seller.
