So Ive got a Car Holder that Im reasonabley happy with but would like to know how does a phone know when its placedin a dedicated dock, is there a magnet or something ?
I obviously am looking to try to replicate a dedicated car dock that the phone will sense when its placed in it so I can use TASKER to activate certain things.
There must be some sort of sensor or something on the actual phone and I want to know what it is that triggers it ie a magnet or something so I can replicate it and where on the phone the nagnet or whatever it is would need to be placed.
Ive seen the threads on docks and know I can get one for another model that fits apparently but I dont want to have to take my cover off each time I dock it, my current holder is like a universal fit and allows for my protective case.
Incedentally its a pretty good holder for a fiver off ebay
