My wife and I are both looking to upgrade to the verizon Incredible 2 phones (primary and secondary lines).
I see all of these adds for free or very cheap phones through sears/wirefly, TargetMobile, etc. They offer the Inc2 for "free" when upgrading a Family Plan primary line - and let you order more than one phone. However, if I order the same phone specifically for the secondary line, it's $80 or more.
What prevents me from ordering two phones for the primary line (for free) and then activating the second phone on our secondary line (versus ordering one for primary and placing a second order for the second line at $80)?
I'm confused on how this would work - I know I can't pick a cheaper plan after the fact without additional fees, but what's preventing me from doing as described above? Pitfalls to this strategy?
