Help Case for galaxy s7,

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy s7 and I have been debating whether or not to wear a case on my phone. I unfortunately live in florida and I don't move around too much and when I do, I'm in a car. I am also pretty careful when holding my phone and I have only dropped it once since I got it last june. Do you think a case is necessary?
