Help Case for wireless charging

Hello all, need some advice please. I am thinking of getting a Note 7, I would like to use the wireless charger by Samsung, but also use a magnet Cd holder which I love. My question concerns a case that would allow me to use both the charger and magnet holder! Do you think this is possible? Do not want to take case off just to charge. Any suggestions please? Thx
 
All Qi wireless chargers use the same technology and protocol.

buy them willy nilly and it don't matter, EXCEPT for one issue.

the Qi pad must have a strong enough radiation pattern to get thru any extra cases that you might install on the phone.

very few of them will do that, I had to buy 4 Qi wireless receivers to get one that would work with a thick Speck CandyShell military grip case.... but, all of the Qi pads will work with that one good receiver coil.....

check the specifications, it must state it will work up to at least 8 mm of free air space....

I have 4 phones here, all are wireless charged. love it.
 
Actually the Note 7 uses the newer fast wireless charging so a third party setup might not give the faster charging rate.
If you add a magnetic holder that requires attaching a metal plate to the back of the phone, this will almost certainly break the wireless charging function. So you would have to decide which is more important to you, the holder or the convenience of wireless charging.
In any case you may be putting those plans on hold as Samsung has stopped shipments on the Note 7 due to some of them exploding.
 
I can guarantee you that a metal plate on the back of the phone will stop the wireless charging....
No ifs, ands, or buts....
