Hi, probably a really simple answer to this but I have a Sony Xperia z5 phone and also an android mx box hooked to my TV.
The box has Kodi so does pretty much everything I want it to however if for example I try to use channel 4 all four app it tells me it won't play from root device so it obviously knows I'm playing via a box onto a screen.
If I want to watch a programme on Kodi then ofcourse I generally need to know exactly what I'm looking for to find it so I find myself wanting to load the programme via the phone app and view it on my TV
Now with my previous apply iPhone and apple TV that was really easy, simply select airplay however I must be being really silly as I can't seem to workout how to get my phone to connect or cast via the android box.
I even bought a cast hdmi stick but no joy.
The phone is full of options to throw the screen, cast the screen, mirror the screen but it doesn't find the box.
What am I doing wrong?????
