Looking for phones for cricket/ATT 250.00 or below. They have Amp Prime 2, ZTE Blade X Maxx and LG X Charge. Looking for alot better up grades. 53 yr old, 19 yr old girl, 16 yr old girl. Looking at Moto G6, Nokia 6.1 or 7.1. Any advise is appreciated!

If ya look at the Motorola E5 Cruise.. (E5 plus), it has decent specs and a 5,000mAh battery which most ppl get upwards of 3 days to a charge. Not sure of Development capabilities but I don't think any of your choices previously mentioned have that option tho..

^^^What he says. I have a Moto, they are good phones. Mine is a bit over your price point, but they have a bunch that are right in your range. They are good (not great) phones that will do what you want and last. Think Fords vs. Ferraris, or maybe more like Ford's vs. Lincolns.

Would it be worth the extra to buy nokia 7.1? Its like 130.00 more, or even the moto g7 they both run 299.00 at B @ H photo which is a great store. Or are these phones not that much better than the g6 to spend the extra money?

Of all the ones you've mentioned, the Moto G7 is probably the best option of specs, I think.. I'd try for the Plus version, bigger battery to last days on a charge

Looking over the list of those three current phones vs. the your list of three potential new purchases, I wouldn't consider this to be '... a lot better upgrade' but still a worthy upgrade nonetheless -- just getting them phones with at least 2GB of RAM is going to be a plus. This is a good read, especially since it matches some of your potentials, but there's also info on what to look for and why in the article so you can make a more informed decision on your own (you'll probably have a better idea on what those two teenage girls want vs what they need).
