Music disappeared

Guest
I have a Lg G3 and just recently I some of my media files are not showing up in my library on my default music player. I can find them in a file search, but not in my library. I downloaded rocket player and the same thing. I then downloaded PowerAmp and they all show up there. I'm running Lollipop 5.0.1, but I had the issue before upgrading. Also, the files that aren't showing up also don't show up in a mp3 tagging tool.

You can clear data for Media Storage, then give it a half hour or so to rebuild the media database. This will clear your ringtone defaults as a side effect.

Open up task manager and end the process , either its media player or rocket player . Connect your phone to your PC and see if you can play those songs there , if not , your songs are ****ed , also make sure they have .mp3 extension . Another thing you can try is to clear the data on those apps and restart the phone , this is if the songs are actually working of course .

Thanks for all the tips, guys. I've already tried all of these, except hooking up to a cpu, I'll have to find one.
