Hello all
I'm considering trying to obtain the following certifications over the next 6 months to 1 year. Comp Tia A+,comp Tia networking, comp Tia security and CCNA. As someone not in the IT feild I've been told by a friend of a friend that this is sensible. My goal is to work in the computer security field. If anyone could add there thoughts or suggestions/experience I would appreciate it.
Thank you very much

I would go to learn smart systems to get material to prepare. Also PM me if you would like any additional info.

IT guy here with those certs and more.

CCNA used to be the go to, and still kind of is. Personally, I'd start with A+ and Network+, but that's just me.

It also depends on what you plan on working with. For instance, Microsoft has their own set of certs too.
