Change APN or Android Plan an absolute must?

Is there a method to change the default epc.tmobile.com APN on an Android device like the Moto Charm or a Samsung Galaxy S?

I use EM+ and have the $10 web.
When using an unlocked phone, I would get the Web2go upsell prompt unless I changed the epc.tmobile.com APN to internet2.voicestream.com

I absolutely love my plan and don't want TMO or any reps messing with it if they find out I switched to an Android phone.

Is this possible?
Will I still be able to tether or use a mobile hotspot app?

I don't know if the menus are different on your device but this is how I find the APN settings on my Nexus One. After you locate the APN settings on your phone, it should be easy to change them.

menu>settings>wireless & networks>mobile networks>access point names
