Help Change calendar date-format and week-start-day

I'm really glad with Android and it's calendar sync, but I have some issues.

1.-
I can go to and set the date format in Android: settings-->date & time-->select date format-->2009-12-31
But in the calendar the format remains as: 12/31/2009
Can I change the date-format shown in calendar?


2.-
Also in the calendar, the week starts with sunday. Can I set it to start on monday?



pd: by the way, on google-calendar I already have them set to 2009-12-31 and monday.

I have a similar problem but I want the week to start on a Sunday. My online calendar starts Sundays but my G1 will only start on a Monday. I have tried clearing calendar settings in applications and re-synching but it will not change. Does anyone have any ideas on this?
