change date time

  • Thread starter Thread starter Android Question
  • Start date Start date
Hi, welcome to Android Forums.

I think most android devices follow the same procedure. On my HTC One I find 'Date and Time' in 'Settings'. I then have a number of options :-

A tick box for 'Automatic date and time'

A tick box for 'Automatic time zone'

If both are ticked then in theory the device will look after itself by synchronizing with your mobile network.

I have them unticked and manually set the time and date using the 'Set Time' and 'Set Date' functions.

I have a Google shortcut to 'UK Time' on my homepage and check it now and again, but that is down to personal choice.

If your device is different then please resubmit your question, or better still, consider joining us.

Hope this helps. :)
