Change default browser for Google searches

On my S5, when I used the Google search bar (app) on my phone, it would always take me to the results page and from there when I picked a link to look at, I could go to the ... menu and pick "Open with Chrome" but now the only option on the S8 is "Open with Internet" which is great, but I want to be able to open the link/tab/page within Chrome. I have scoured the settings for both apps to figure it out as well as the general settings on the phone and cant figure out how to change it. Does anyone know how?

My default browser is already set to Chrome on everything and I don't see a permission that would negate this.

If you use the search bar doesn't it default to Chrome? Well at least on mine, the results show up in Chrome and then when I press them then by default the page shows up in Chrome. If you press the three dots top right just after the search there is an option to show the results in a browser other than Chrome though.
