change default download location on firefox

Is there a way to change where files download or have android's firefox ask you every time you download a file? Cause so far I've noticed that all downloads always go to somewhere in mnt/sdcard which is internal memory , and the programs never ask you where to put downloaded files. I'm annoyed at having to go to astro to move them manually. I want to choose where they go when I download them.

I googled around and most sites say to find in about:config browser.download.dir, but I can't find that in the current version of firefox, so I guess that was for earlier versions. How do I fix it in this version?

In my mobile Firefox 7.0.1, on its startpage, there's a button 'Getting Help' (bottom right) that gives access to a FAQ and leads to a 'community' (board) where you can ask your question from probably more users than here.
