Help Change Default Keyboard

Ok. I don't know if anyone has run into this yet. But no matter what add-on keyboard that I download from the play store it won't let me change it over to it from the stock LG keyboard. Anyone ran into this and found a work around or am I just not doing something right? Thanks ahead of time.

you can't "replace" but you can just switch the default keyboard.....and i personally prefer the LG Keyboard with these themes http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/themes-apps/theme-lg-android-l-keyboard-themes-t2847352 but i personally fell in love with Android L Red 2

I'm not sure I am understanding your answer. You say I can't replace it but I can change it. So are you saying I can't use another keyboard app, but I can only change the skin to it? That pretty much isn't really doing anything if that is the case. I want to use another keyboard app as my default keyboard. Thanks.

You don't get a keyboard icon in notifications when using a keyboard on the Stylo?

Go to >settings>general>language and input>keyboard>default> and choose default keyboard.

Cause to me saying "replace" is literally deleting the LG keyboard from the system and putting another in its place, but you can use a different keyboard as the default by following the mentioned instructions, but like I said I personally love the LG keyboard when it's skinned

Forgot to mention the same button combo also works while you're in twrp recovery to take screenshots.

When your phone screen is off hold up for two seconds for quick memo, and hold down for two seconds for camera. Has nothing to do with the previous post but i thought would be helpful to you.
