How do I change the time on home screen to digital

Try adding a clock widget, and seeing what options you have. If there is a digital clock, add that and remove the analogue widget.
Otherwise there are many apps in the Play Store that can provide a digital clock widget (I currently have UCCW, Zooper and Timely on my phone, but there are very, very many digital clock widgets you can choose from).
