I have no service since I have no signal.
How do I fix this?

OH, it seems to fix itself after several minutes.

Did you do this yourself or pay to get it done?
You may have bad connections at the circuit connectors or at the antenna connections.

I did it myself, the cell strength antenna is NOT the 2 coax wires, those wires are for the wifi wlan signal.
It is working fine, it just took a while to reset itself. cell strength antenna is in the rear cover at top right, and connects by way of a spring clip that presses on the outer cover. So it is something hard to mess up.

If you changed the charging port - this unit is what you renewed? The BLUE wire in lower left is the antenna and this is where a lack of signal problem can be caused.
There are numerous spring contacts on the boards as 3 are visible in this view. If the cover was not fully clipped into place during assembly, yes you would entertain problems with bad contacts. Nice to know you've sorted it all out.

Yes, I replaced that port.
Yes, it is an antenna, there is another on the other side, but I have read it is the WIFI antenna, not the cell signal antenna.

The cell signal antenna has no wire.
From what I see, those 2 wires are for the wifi only.

There are antennas all over this thing, one in the base bottom.

Others are in the outer cover.

L1 and R1 ports are to connect an external antenna for cell signal.

The phone determines which is the better signal and only uses that.

I called Verizon and said my phone signal strength has gotten so poor at the house down to 1 or no bars and can not make calls. So the told me to buy a booster off amazon as their stock is out, and he credited me $110 to make the purchase, This is what verizon says will work.

And has good reviews.

There may be many antennas in the S4 Galaxy i9505 which are hidden inside the plastic frames but I still refer you to my first reply where from my own experience If the frame sections are not assembled correctly (fulled clipped together) the spring contacts may not connect properly. Hence your problem.
I have seen S4's which owners have taken apart and when they assembled the phone - there were gaps around the front and middle frames (not aligned and clipped in place). I have taken the phone apart and correctly assembled it and it worked!
P.S. your 3rd. link looks nothing like the S4 internals I have in front of me. I don't think it is the i9505 view as the date of the writing is 12 months prior to release of the phone.
