Root Changed screen resolution and density .

I just used the adb method to change the screen resolution and density to that of an HTC one x it makes the screen look hd and images look so much better, video on YouTube can be played at 720p instead of 360p. It's easy to do and does not require root.

Has it affected your battery life at all?

It shouldn't, at least in my experience. The only thing it has affected is the dialer app on my Core Prime. Good luck.
