Changed some settings by accident, can't change back :|

Ok so I accidentally changed some settings and now I can't change them back, or don't know how to change them back.

On my SG2 after a failed call I tried to send a message, then I ticked default application, unfortunately it was the wrong messaging application and now I can't send messages. I want to "un default it".

Any ideas please? Really confused as to how to fix this. This damn phone is so confusing.

To clear the default settings you need to know which messaging app you have selected as the new default.

To clear the default do the following if whatsapp for example is the new default:
Press menu > settings > applications > manage applications > locate the app in the list (eg whatsapp) press the clear default button
Done!
