I have a Motorola Razr Maxx and last week got a Samsung Galaxy S3 tablet. I set up things on the tablet like I think I was supposed too. On my phone I had things set not to update automatically but yesterday EVERYTHING started updating and my phone has been slower since I got the tablet. I could understand if something is actively downloading but it's slower all the time.
Is this some kind of Google connection? It's the only thing I can think of that would be connected since I had to log in to my gmail on both devices. I love Google but I hate the thought they know my every movement and I think the new Google Plus+ does much more than we think.
Any suggestions? I looked on the phone for a place to "not update applications automatically" but couldn't find anything. I had, a year ago, gone into every app and chose "do not update" if they had that option, but SOMETHING overrode that yesterday.
My phone says I'm running Android version 4.1.2 and my tablet is running Kit Kat.
