Changing Android Calendar Defaults

Is there any way to set up my Android Calendar to default on opening to the current date? I use Calendar in agenda mode and when I turn on Calendar the screen always seems to show the events of day or two in the past.

Also, when I enter a new event the default date is always at least a day or two in the past. It's irritating that I always have to change the date.

Thanks in advance.

What kind of device are you running? I've recently had a similar problem with my shift, except that instead of changing days it changes time zone, so the hour is completely off. I had to go in and turn off automatic time zone changes.

Sorry, I was out of town for a few days.

Date and Time on my phone is set to "automatic". In agenda mode the calendar shows the current weekday labeled as "Today" and that seems to always be correct. Just activated the calendar and it brought up March 9 at the top of the page. Weird.

I have the Verizon Droid

I have a Verizon Droid X2, and I also noticed that I see the correct date when I open the Calendar, but when I want to create a new entry, it opens a date 2-3 days in the past. It is irritating! I am not sure if it's a glitch, or some setting that needs to be changed.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
