I have a samsung fascinate. I would like to change phones and it is not time to upgrade for me. I am going to transfer to a "holder phone" i have here, cell my fascinate on eBay, then go buy a phone at verizon. Do they charge any "hidden" fees, like deactivation, or early contract or anything, if i simply walk up to the counter and ask to buy a phone they have there?

meaning if you buy a phone retail? There may be an activation fee, it's usually $35. I can't imagine there would be any other fees. Also, I would suggest you check Amazon Target, Walmart, Best Buy, etc for a possibly cheaper retail price than Verizon.

I don't think there are any fees. Just get the phone and self-activate via phone or web.
