Changing default behavior of a bluetooth headset

Hello,

I recently bought a Wimaze WY-10 Bluetooth headset. When I receive calls on it, it announces the phone number instead of the contact name. I contacted the company and they said I can't change this setting, so I was hoping that someone knew of a way to override the setting.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have a Blu R1 HD running Lollipop.
