You are usually going to need the device to be rooted in order to change the font and font color.
If you are rooted, you have apps that will not only change the font color but can also change the font.
As I said earlier, you are gonna probably need to be rooted 1st.
A good suggestion would be to look through Android Forums list of supported devices. If you device is supported, I invite you to join Android Forums and explore your device's section. Usually you will find a wealth of information in those section and if you have questions, members are usually more than willing to help you.
