Help Changing keyboard

I have downloaded Thumb Keyboard, but how can I change the standard keyboard to this one? With the Sgs2 I had to hold down on a text input field and then I could select a keyboard. This doesn't work with the HTC One X..

Settings > Language and keyboard. This should enable you to select your preference.

I already did that, but I still have the standard keyboard.
