Help Changing language of Samsung apps

Hello,

I have setup my device to use English as a language and everything works as expected.

However the Samsung Apps choose to display things in the language of the country I am located in (in this case Thailand) and seems to ignore the Android language setting.

This is annoying because everything that is Samsung App-related is displaying in Thai language.

I have checked my Samsung account (no language setting there), every single menu in the phone (nothing specific to Samsung app).

Obviously it only affects users who use one language in a country that speaks another language. This will never affect users who are in their own country.

Thank you for any tip.

Thank you for the suggestion, unfortunately it didn't help.

My Google account's language is set to English, and I did go through all its settings one more time just to make sure.

I rebooted my device just in case.

The Samsung Apps are still in Thai language.

After searching for people with similar problem, I discovered that I'm not the only one. Apparently the language is based on the SIM. Yes, in 2015, Samsung doesn't think it necessary to give users the choice of their language.

One solution: stop using Samsung Apps.

Well done, Samsung!

Interesting, because the older versions of the S-apps didn't do that, they took the Android language choice from settings, which is what should be happening. I've got an S4, which had 4.4 Samsung TouchWiz firmware until I changed it to CM12 :), originally purchased in Hong Kong and used in China with a Unicom SIM, and it still had all the S-apps in English.
