Changing/removing dock bar in ahome?

I just bought the full version of ahome as I love quite a few themes on the market that require it. However, I don't like the dock bar when I apply most of said themes. Any way to customize it without being rooted?

If anyone can tell me why I'm not getting all the icons and custom clocks shown in the themes' screenshots, please let me know.

Here are some themes I like. I've downloaded some of them already. I see no dock bar in the shots.

I like the dock bar in this one:

I haven't applied this theme but I like the dock bar:

I'm not sure how to take a screenshot of my current home screen or I would post it to show how unappealing it looks. Help?

On your homepage, click on Menu, Preferences, Appearance Settings, Dock Background, and select None.

Edit: Oops, I'm usingn LP. Sorry...

I don't use aHome, however. Have you tried going into aHome's settings, and then going into the Dock Bar, then try unchecking Show Dock Background. This should remove it so that there is no image but the background (wallpaper), but shouldn't be any dock background image.

EDIT UPDATE: Here's a link to aHome's manual which is very helpful and in depth. Very helpful information for you... :)
