Help Changing the sounds on HTC Desire 816

I changed from Samsung s3 to HTC Desire 816 since my phone broke.

So far, the HTC is very good.

The only complain is I don't like the sounds on the phone. I also noticed that some apps are missing some of their own sounds. For example, the Twitter app I instead does not include Twitter notification sound.

So is there a way to get other sounds for the HTC? Thanks for any help you can give to me.

On any Android -

Plug in to PC, and in your /sdcard (default internal storage in your case), create the following folders -

Media/Audio/Alarms
Media/Audio/Notifications
Media/Audio/Ringtones

I've found all lowercase works as well.

Place any mp3 sound clips in the folders, the name indicates the function, keep them short, not whole songs.

Choose as desired from system or apps, they'll appear to be built-in.

If you want to edit little clips from your own songs, check out "Ringdroid"

Other sounds you can find with Google.
