Help charged notification?

Just upgraded from an s2 to s3 today.wondering if the s3 makes a notification sound to let me know when it's fully charged? A red light is on.had it on charge just over 2 hours now.how long should I let it charge for? Thanks

Typically, Android phones with LEDs will display red or amber while charging and will switch to green (if possible) when a 90 percent charge is achieved.

As for how long it will take to charge, that's highly dependent upon many factors. How much current your charger puts out, how much you do with your phone while it's charging, the condition of the battery, and a few other things can all affect charging time.
