Charger makes noise

Hi
I bought new phone, Huawei Ascend G525 3 days ago.
Everything is fine but my Charger makes sound so like rubbing two metals togheter, when it's connected to the electrical outlet. Its sound changes and even increases by connecting the phone.
Is it normal????
It can be heard in silent room.
 
Yeah, that doesn't sound good. Whatever noise it is, obviously there is no mechanical parts in there, so something is wrong with electrical circuit. This could easily damage your phone - get a new charger.
 
Does it sound like rapid clicking at all? If so, that's an electrical short within the charger. Definitely not a good thing. Get it replaced, pronto.
 
Hmmm. Well there could be a transformer vibrating in there too. If some of the laminations are loose, that would make a noise as described.
