Help Charging in the UK

can u use a bb micro usb charger? or an apple mains uk adapter with the supplied usb cable to charge it?

i two spare BB chargers and i dont wanna buy another, in the EU were all moving to stadardised micro usb ports anyway, so environment/cost saving is my motivation for asking

Is this standard a bit slow to come to fruition?

I only ask as looking at my plantronics micro-usb charger, it says 5V 350mA..?
 
It comes with a US charger anyway so dont get the aditional UK one. You can just use an adaptor to convert it.

Any micro USB 1A will do the trick. I've checked its peak input and its about 760mA. So I guess anything less won't charge it as well.

Remember the phone only draws what it needs so you don't need to worry about 'too much current', just not enough - which means slower charging.
 
I've used the supplied 1A charger with a US->UK adapter, a Motorola 500mA charger, and a standard USB port (which is also 500mA, I think).

All work fine, but the 1A charger is much faster than the others.

Has anyone used a USB out car charger? I've got a couple, the most 'reputable' being a proporta one. Having already a usb cable with the headset, was hoping to leave it in the car and charge there.

James, have you ordered a Nexus? Mine (I think) is currently about to go over Newfoundland, the tracking site is on til I go to bed lol.. Will be taking my spare shaver plug into work tomorrow, just in case :D
 
I've got a USB car charger, seems to work OK, not sure what its output is but it's made by Mountech.

Orderd it last night order is still being processed, I'm far too excited, the info in this site helped me make my decision. Hero on eBay, shame but HTC just dont update sense fast enough, with vanilla android ill always be up to date. And no one i know here in the has one. Lol.
