Help Charging Info. while device is sleeping

Does anyone know if it is possible to not have the charging info. showing at the bottom of the display when the device is in sleep/idle mode? I originally thought it was part of the Always on Display, but I disabled that and it still shows. I have not looked around too much further, but will after posting this.

The setting "show charging information" under "Display" seems to control this. Unchecking it, so far, does not seem to disable the top of the screen charge level icon.
