Charging my Battery

When im charging my Desire i usually leave it on over night, once fully charged i.e 100% showing on the screen and the green LED is flashing, if i use the phone while it is still connected to the charger the batter will go down to 95% or some where around there with the orange led flashing and it stays there should it carry on charging whilst plugged in when needed or is it designed to charge to 100% and then cut off until un connected and re connected?



Is this correct??????

Mine stays at 100% if I use it while still on the charger. Are you using the original charger that came with the phone?

Yeah its the charger out of the box. if the phones been used either by me or a text email or call coming in i have to unplug it from the phone and plug the charger in again for it to charge again.
