Help Charging Problems

TLCH723

Newbie
Sometime I have plug in and unplug the stock cable with the stack charger several times before it gets charge. And also sometime when it is charging it stopped at a random percentage.
Should I RMA it??

For those who did the RMA, do you get a new one or refurbished one??

Seem like is the charger problem.
Plug into my USB port and it charged 4 percent in half an hour. (70 to 74).

When I was using the charger this morning, it charged from 17ish% to 69% for 5+ hours.

Thinking of buying this
Any other suggestions??

my charger/adapter connection is loose. I've already contacted Google.

another cable + ASUS adapter = fine.

ASUS cable + another adapter = fine.

ASUS cable + ASUS adapter = wonky connection that sometimes doesn't work.

You should be careful when plugging and unplugging the USB connector... do not wiggle it side to side just pull it straight out and insert very carefully. I don't think this type connector is really rated for high connect / disconnect use.

Check inside the tablet connector and make sure there is nothing blocking the contacts, blow on it and brush it out with a tooth brush, make sure it is clean. If that doesn't fix it ... it may need to go back.

But it charges fine using the stock cable and USB port.
And half and half using the stock cable and the adapter.

I look at the microUSB port on my N7 and saw this copper wire sticking out.

That is definitely your problem. That bent wire should be in place along side the other 4. Time for an RMA to return a defective unit.
